Managerial Skills :

·       Lead and manage data engineering & Analytics operations and projects, ensuring they are delivered in accordance with client commitments and expectations.

·       Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and support to team members.

Technical skills :

·       Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and data infrastructure that support business needs.

·       Oversee data quality, governance, security, and compliance efforts, ensuring alignment with organizational standards and policies.

·       Evaluate and implement emerging data and analytics echnologies and best practices to ensure the team's approach is state-of-the-art

·       Analyze and optimize data ingestion and processing workflows to ensure efficiency and performance, leveraging cloud and distributed systems

·       Manage ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and ensure data reliability and consistency.

·       Participate in building scalable data architectures and analytical platforms, integrating data from different sources to provide actionable insights

·       Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data engineering and analytics goals and requirements (data scientists, analysts, product managers).

·       Analyze and optimize data and analytics processes for efficiency and performance.

·       Implement and promote DataOps practices to improve collaboration, integration, automation, and continuous delivery in data engineering processes.

Basic Qualifications:

·       Typically, 8+ years of relevant work experience with a minimum of 3+ years in a similar role within data engineering or related fields.

·       Proven experience in data engineering, analytics and leadership roles

·       Proficiencies in different data engineering tools and technologies such as data pipelines, data warehousing, ETL processes, Analytics tools, Dataops and cloud platforms

·       Ability to stay updated with industry knowledge, trends, and technology.

Other Qualifications:

·       Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

·       Relevant certifications such as Microsoft or AWS, Google, DAMA

·       Fluency in English & Frensh. Proficiency in another language is a plus

·       Advanced degree in a relevant Data field is a plus
